You’ll be picked up at your hotel and commence the sightseeing tour. You’ll visit the Cham Sculpture Museum, an elegant building that houses a vast collection of sandstone sculptures created by the ancient, Hinduist Cham civilization. Among all artifacts, the altar pedestal of Tra Kieu stands out to be the most stunning work, elaborately depicting scenes of the Ramayana Epic in Indian culture.
Next you’ll embark on a short drive to the beach of Bai But and visit the beautiful Linh Ung Pagoda. While the huge Guanyin statue is the centerpiece of the pagoda, the front terrace and the tall tower offer a superb view of the city’s skyline.
After that you’ll visit the village of marble carvers at the base of the limestone hills, in which a large number of families still work on marble diligently and tirelessly. Behold the skillfulness of the workers who help keep this trade alive today! Finally, your driver will take you back to your hotel. This marks the end of the half-day Danang city tour.
