Hue - Danang (L)
The tour begins with a 3-hour scenic journey from Hue to Hoi An that features breathtaking views of Lang Co Lagoon and Hai Van Pass. In Danang, you’re free to amble about and explore the Marble Mountains, beautiful karst hills with mysterious caves, revered temples, shrines, pagodas and a fantastic perspective of the surroundings.
You’ll be invited to check out the village of marble carvers at the base of the limestone hills in which a large number of families work tirelessly and diligently on marble carvings. Behold the skillfulness of the workers who help keep this trade alive today! After meeting the marble carvers, you’ll check in at your resort. The afternoon is for you to relax and enjoy the beach and spend one night in Danang.
Hoi An - My Son - Danang (B/L)
Hoi An still exudes the feeling of an anachronistic yet alluring and thriving medieval trading port in Southeast Asia complete with numerous historic buildings, lantern-lit alleyways, bustling markets, expert tailors, artisan shops, old residences and dazzling temples. You’ll discover its beauty by taking a leisurely stroll through the quaint streets and diminutive alleys with your local, knowledgeable guide. You’ll also visit the famed Japanese Bridge, the Fujian Congregation Hall, a UNESCO-protected shophouse and the handicraft center.
That afternoon you’ll start the journey to My Son to contemplate the relics of the Hindu Cham, a remote civilization who ruled over Central Vietnam in the Middle Ages. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the museum to understand why these pre-Angkorian ruins of My Son were recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll then take a short transfer by electric car from the museum toward the ruin site where you’ll be free to look around and discover the artistry made by the Cham people. Lastly, you’ll hop back in your vehicle and head back to Danang.
