Day 1: Arrival In Saigon. Visit Cu Chi.
Your adventure begins the moment you land at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN). After a warm greeting from your guide, you will head directly to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels. This sprawling underground network served as a hidden city during the war. You will have the chance to descend into the narrow passageways, discover hidden trapdoors, and learn about the incredible ingenuity required for survival in this subterranean world. After exploring the site, return to Saigon for a relaxing evening.
Day 2: Saigon To Can Tho (B)
Spend the morning on the pedicab uncovering the architectural soul of Saigon. You will visit the Reunification Palace, a modernist time capsule, followed by the French colonial elegance of the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. After soaking in the city’s energy, trade the urban skyline for the emerald landscapes of the Mekong Delta as you drive toward Can Tho, the region’s vibrant capital, arriving in time for a peaceful evening by the river.
Day 3: Can Tho To An Binh Island and Saigon (B/L)
Rise early to witness the Cai Rang Floating Market at its peak. Glide past hundreds of boats laden with tropical fruits and enjoy a local breakfast served right on the water. Afterward, journey to Vinh Long for a boat transfer and an immersive cycling trip through An Binh Island. Navigate narrow, orchard-shaded canals, peddling through arrays of local cottages. By late afternoon, return to the high-energy pulse of Saigon.
Day 4: Saigon To Mui Ne (B)
Head toward the coast with a stop at Ta Cu Mountain. You will ascend the peaks via a scenic cable car ride, offering panoramic views of the surrounding dragon fruit plantations. Once at the top, take a short, invigorating hike through the forest to discover the magnificent Reclining Buddha, one of the largest in Southeast Asia. Continue the journey to the seaside town of Mui Ne, famous for its dramatic coastline and Mediterranean-like climate.
Day 5: Mui Ne (B)
Experience the thrill of the desert in Vietnam with a sunrise Jeep ride across the vast White Sand Dunes. The rolling hills of sand provide a stunning backdrop for photography and exploration. After the morning’s excitement, the afternoon is yours to “snooze” and relax at the beach, enjoying the sea breeze and golden sands of Mui Ne.
Day 6: Mui Ne To Saigon. Departure (B)
After a final morning swim or a leisurely breakfast by the ocean, enjoy a comfortable private transfer back to Saigon. Your guide and driver will ensure a timely arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure flight, bringing your diverse Southern Vietnam journey to a close.
