Day 1 - HCM City - Can Tho (Lunch included)
Prepare for your journey into the Mekong Delta, often referred to as “the rice bowl of Vietnam.” This region is the country’s most fertile area and a key producer of rice and tropical fruits.
Your adventure begins with a drive south to the riverside town of Cai Be, accompanied by your guide and private vehicle. Upon arrival, you’ll board a motorboat to visit a beautifully preserved traditional home, where you can indulge in local delicacies and observe the flourishing cottage industries. This visit offers a unique insight into the daily lives of the local residents.
Following this, you’ll take a motorboat across the river, navigating through canals lined with villages on both sides. The journey continues to Vinh Long before concluding with a road trip to Can Tho, where you will spend the night.
Day 2 - Can Tho - HCM City (Breakfast & Lunch Included)
You’ll rise early for an exhilarating boat trip to the famous Cai Rang floating market. As you navigate through a maze of hundreds of merchant boats, you’ll witness the vibrant exchange of goods, with vessels brimming with produce from farms and orchards across the region. This bustling and lively market offers the perfect opportunity for capturing memorable photos with the locals.
After exploring the market, you’ll disembark and take a short drive to visit a stunning local home in Binh Thuy. This residence showcases a fascinating blend of Baroque elements and traditional Vietnamese architecture. Following the visit, you’ll embark on a road trip back to Ho Chi Minh City.
