Description
Your day begins with a convenient hotel pick-up, uniting you with your guide for an immersive tour of Da Nang’s rich highlights.
First, explore the Cham Sculpture Museum, an elegant building blending French colonial architecture with ancient Cham design. Inside, discover an extensive collection of sandstone artifacts crafted by the Hindu Cham civilization between the 7th and 15th centuries. The undisputed masterpiece is the Tra Kieu altar pedestal, featuring intricate carvings that depict vibrant scenes from the Indian Ramayana epic.
Next, enjoy a scenic drive along the Son Tra Peninsula to Linh Ung Pagoda at Bai But Beach. The serene complex is dominated by a majestic, 67-meter-tall Guanyin (Lady Buddha) statue, which stands as a symbol of protection for local fishermen. Step onto the front terrace beside the multi-tiered tower to soak in breathtaking views of Da Nang’s modern skyline and the blue East Sea.
Afterward, head to the majestic Marble Mountains. You will ride a glass elevator up Thuy Son (Water Mountain) to bypass the steep steps and enjoy instant coastal views. From there, enjoy a peaceful walk along stone pathways to Huyen Khong Cave, a spectacular cathedral-like cavern where natural sunlight streams through ceiling skylights, illuminating hidden Buddhist altars. Continue on foot to Vong Hai Dai (Sea Watching Tower) for a stunning panoramic vista of the surrounding peaks and Non Nuoc beach below.
Finally, descend to the base of the mountains to visit the Non Nuoc stone carving village. Wander through open-air workshops to witness the exceptional skill of artisans transforming raw marble into delicate statues, proudly keeping this 400-year-old traditional craft alive.
