Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is a charming city that blends old-world elegance with striking colonial architecture. Its numerous lakes and parks provide a tranquil atmosphere. If time permits, enjoy a cyclo ride through the bustling Old Quarter, where each street is named after the traditional goods once sold there. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi (B)

Embark on a full-day exploration of Hanoi, starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, the One Pillar Pagoda, a historic symbol of the city. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, and the National Musuem of Vietnam History, home to a rich collection of artifacts showcasing Vietnam’s past. Visit the impressive Ethnology Museum, dedicated to the diverse cultures of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. In the afternoon, explore Hoan Kiem Lake and its sacred temple, followed by a trip to the vibrant Dong Xuan Market. End the day with a performance of Hanoi’s renowned water puppets. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi to Mai Chau (B/D)

Depart Hanoi and travel through hilly outskirt towards Mai Chau in the midland region. We stop in Hoa Binh and visit the Museum of Muong Cultural Space where interesting cultural interconnection between the Viet and the Muong ethnic peoples are revealed. As we travel longer we gain more elevation on the scenic winding roads until we reach the picturesque valley of Mai Chau. We settle in at one of the Thai village in the center of the valley. The afternoon is for the walking tour through the Thai villages. Dinner will be served after the opening dance show of the Thai villagers in their colorful costume. The bamboo dance will be particularly engaging.

Day 4: Mai Chau to Cuc Phuong (B)

Today we venture into the surrounding villages and further explore the beautiful landscape of Mai Chau with an electric car. We ride through several villages of the Thai peacefully settled among paddy fields against the backdrop of the surrounding mountain ranges. There will be lots of encounters with the local people. Set out from Mai Chau. We take a scenic drive from the mountains towards the lowlands, driving through different landscape with picturesque rugged karst hills rising from the flat green paddy fields. We head for Cuc Phuong National Park and arrive by late afternoon when we will check in Cuc Phuong Resort and spend the night on the jungle outskirt.

Day 5: Cuc Phuong To Ninh Binh (B)

Today we start in the morning with a hike through the tropical vegetation of the national park. We will encounter some huge trees of a few hundreds of years old. We also explore a cave which carries traces of pre-history Man. We visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center (EPRC). Around mid afternoon we leave the national park and take a short drive toward Ninh Binh. Once arrived in Ninh Binh, we take the boat tour in the Van Long wetland and capture the beauty of sunset, Check in our resort and have the rest of the day to relax , getting ready for the next amazing day.

Day 6: Ninh Binh (B)

The whole day today is to explore the extraordinary attractions in Ninh Binh. In the morning we hop on a bicycle and peddle through scenic countryside. We visit some old temples in Hoa Lu, the site of the medieval capital. In the afternoon we take a stunning boat trip and paddle through the magnificent karst landscape in Trang An, a UNESCO site. Before the end of the afternoon we walk up 500 steps at Hang Mua to be rewarded with the breath taking panorama and the sunset from the top of this karst hill. End of the day, we will spend one more night in Ninh Binh.

Day 7: Ninh Binh To Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

From a UNESCO site to the next. Today we travel to Halong Bay, a magical creation of nature in the form of thousands of half-submerged karst pillars. Here we have an overnight exploration cruise on board of a traditional wooden junk. Sail through this remarkable bay aboard a traditional wooden junk boat, taking in views of the towering karst pillars and exploring impressive stalactite-filled caves.

Day 8: Ha Long Bay Hanoi (B)

After the night away from the civilized world, wake up in the tranquil settings of the bay. Continue with the morning cruise while the junk glides through further dramatic scenery. We visit a magnificent stalactite cave before heading back to the harbor in Halong. Upon disembarkation we take the drive back to Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi To Hue (D)

Today we fly to Hue, the former monarchy’s capital city under Nguyen Emperors from 1802. We visit the Citadel of Hue and the Imperial Tomb of Minh Mang marveling at majestic architecture and decors. Later we take a boat trip on Hue river to visit the sacred Thien Mu Pagoda. The cultural splendor of the past dynasty also reveals through the art of culinary that we will experience in tonight’s mandarin dinner.

Day 10: Hue To Hoi An (B)

We journey south and cross over the Hai Van Pass with stunning views of the coastline to reach Hoi An. Follow your guide on the walking tour in the Marble Moutains with visit to the marble working worshop. In the outskirt of Hoi An Old Town, visit the nypa forest and have the exotic bamoo basket ride. Onward to Hoi An and check in hotel. The evening walking tour, we’ll wander through the picturesque streets and narrow alleys, flanked by centuries-old yellow-walled house.

Day 11: Exploration of My Son and Hoi An (B)

Departing from Da Nang, your day begins with a journey back in time to the My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled in a lush valley. Accompanied by your guide, you will explore the atmospheric, red-brick ruins of ancient Cham temples and enjoy a vibrant performance of traditional Cham music and dance. Next, you will travel to the enchanting old town of Hoi An. Your guided walking tour winds through historic, lantern-lit streets, stopping to admire iconic architectural landmarks like the Japanese Covered Bridge, centuries-old assembly halls, and preserved wooden shophouses. The afternoon concludes with a hands-on, local lantern-making workshop. Under the expert guidance of a resident artisan, you will craft your own colorful silk lantern to take home as a personal keepsake.

Day 12: Free Day In Hoi An (B)

These two days are yours to spend at leisure. Unwind by the pool, bask on the beach, enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea, or explore Danang and nearby Hoi An. Take this time to fully relax and recharge.

Day 13: Hoi An To Saigon (B)

In the morning, catch a flight to Saigon and journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a complex network of underground tunnels and bunkers built during wartime for guerilla shelter. Returning to the city of Saigon, stroll through wide boulevards lined with colonial-era buildings from the French occupation of the 19th century. Highlights include the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office.

Day 14: Saigon (B)

This captivating full-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City begins with a scenic morning walking exploration along the historic Saigon River at Bach Dang Wharf, offering views of Saigon Port and the historic Nha Rong Wharf. Next, stroll down the vibrant Nguyen Hue pedestrian promenade, passing the unique Apartment Cafe before admiring the grand architecture of City Hall and the elegant Saigon Opera House. The tour then heads west to Chinatown to experience the bustling energy of Binh Tay Market, followed by a visit to the serene, 19th-century Thien Hau Temple, famous for its massive coiled incense. After enjoying a delicious lunch of authentic Vietnamese cuisine, the afternoon shifts to the city’s most significant historical landmarks., Vsit the Reunification Palace, the beautifully preserved 1960s presidential residence where the Vietnam War famously concluded. Continuing to Cathedral Square, admire the striking red-brick facade of Notre-Dame Cathedral and the grand, vaulted ceilings of the historic Central Post Office. The day concludes with a visit to a traditional lacquer art center, where you will witness artisans meticulously applying resin and inlaying mother-of-pearl to create stunning, authentic masterpieces.

Day 15: Saigon - An Binh - Can Tho (B/L)

Your Mekong Delta journey begins with a scenic drive from Saigon to Vinh Long, where you will step off the beaten path and onto a boat bound for An Binh Island. Upon arrival, gear up for an immersive cycling trip through this peaceful island oasis. You will pedal along narrow, sun-dappled pathways shaded by dense fruit orchards, passing by arrays of charming local cottages and waving to friendly residents. After soaking in the verdant landscapes, gather at a traditional local garden home for a peaceful, authentic Mekong lunch featuring fresh regional ingredients. Satisfied, return to the mainland and take a relaxing drive toward Can Tho, the vibrant capital of the region. Arrive in the late afternoon, just in time to enjoy a breezy evening by the Ninh Kieu riverside.

Day 16: Can Tho To Saigon (B)

Rise early to witness the spectacular Cai Rang Floating Market at its bustling morning peak. You will glide past hundreds of wooden boats laden with vibrant mounds of tropical fruits and vegetables, even enjoying a traditional local breakfast served right on the water. Next, venture inland to visit Gian Gua, a hidden historical site dominated by a giant, centuries-old banyan tree whose sprawling, tangled roots create an otherworldly canopy. Continue to the famous Binh Thuy Old House, a beautifully preserved 19th-century mansion that showcases a stunning blend of French colonial elegance and traditional Vietnamese feng shui architecture. Afternoon, sit back and relax on the drive back to Saigon, returning to the city’s high-energy pulse by late afternoon.
